A black-and-white video by John ‘Hoppy’ Hopkins and Sue Hall, documenting the deserted Prince of Wales Crescent (now Mutton Place) in West Kentish Town, Camden, 1976. Once a thriving squatting community, the filmmakers revisit homes they and others had occupied, including No 2 Prince of Wales Crescent, first shown in their 1971 film Living Free, and 98 Prince of Wales Road. Through their reflections and the visible graffiti declaring “We will not be homeless,” the film captures a moment of loss and memory, where the traces left behind evoke the lives and resistance of a community now gone.
