Synopsis

A black-and-white video of a Black youth group singing hymns acapella, filmed by Basement Project. The video begins with six Black young adults singing and dancing, shuffling back and forth across the room in two rows as they sing ‘Day by Day’ by Godspell. There are two people in the first row, four in the back. They sing acapella and occasionally clap. Oftentimes, the camera zooms in on people when they are singing solo acapella. The next songs include ‘Amazing Grace’ and ‘Colours of Day’.
