Synopsis

A black-and-white video of a rehearsal of a Christmas Pantomime at Bluegate Fields Junior School in Wapping. The performance reveals children sat around the table, followed by two kids on stage. At one point, kids line up to sit on Santa’s lap in a comical naughty or nice evaluation with cross mothers on the side. This is followed by a performance of a dinner and a party. The children all dance in unison to ‘Big Spender’(1966) by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields.
