Hoppy interviews GC, a mother with her baby in this black-and-white video. We see GC in a floral dress with her baby one her lap as Hoppy holds up a microphone. The mother and child were recently evicted from a house in St Leonard Square and moved to another squat. Now, she has decided to move to Wales as she would rather live in the countryside where it’s peaceful and she says, “you don’t feel horrid all the time”. She says the St Leonard Square house was in a bad physical condition and many of the surrounding residents were coming down on squatters to try kick them out.
