Screening & Discussion at Innervisions Alchemy ’s Community Fundraiser.
The event builds on our previous participatory workshop at Ormside Projects in April 2025, where we submitted responses to Southwark Council’s Old Kent Road Area Action Plan consultation.
Panel: Jerry (35% Campaign), Mark (@vitalokr), Joshua (Southwark Group of Tenants Organisation) and Phoebe (@the_lcva). The discussion explores the Old Kent Road Area Action Plan, gentrification, housing, cultural spaces, local businesses, and forms of resistance.
Screenings: Some Choice Examples of Housing Policy in Camden (1974) and Let’s See Action Basement TV Writers Show (1976), both highlighting community struggles against displacement and the fight to let neighbourhoods live beyond profit-driven development.
