LCVA
Our YouTube channel has been taken down due to what we believe is an error. We are trying to contact YouTube to resolve the issue and restore access to our collection of community archive films.
In the meantime our videos can be viewed here https://vimeo.com/thelcva
In the meantime, if you have contacts at YouTube or know anyone who may be able to assist us in reinstating the channel, we’d be very grateful to hear from you. You can reach us at projects@the-lcva.co.uk.
The London Community Video Archive currently has over 200 films and videos in its collection. They can be searched and viewed here alongside supporting documentation and oral history interviews with many of the people involved in their making.
Made between 1969 and 1994, this material has an overriding commitment to social empowerment, and to combatting exclusion, issues which continue to have contemporary relevance. We gathered together a selection of our videos into themes if you are not sure where to start.
All of the material in this archive can be viewed in full for free. We exist to help and support you to organise screening events and to ensure the use of this work in the present and future. Visit our programme page to see what we have coming up and explore our stories to read more about what we do.
